When I first started playing, I used this layout where I put a hotel in the middle, 2 shops at the front door, and the rest of the surrounding area was a dino pin since the hotel overlooks it. The raptor will start charging the fences in agittion. You can check the raptor's stats and the social will be in the red even though there's 6 other raptors in the pen. So, if you have a Raptor who needs friends to be happy, and those friends are all 200 feet away (even in the same enclosure), then they don't count. Say, 100 feet in each direction for argument's sake. the dinosaurs only take into account a certain radius around them. It does require a little bit of work, as you might need to keep tranqing the Rex and replacing hunted herbivores but it's quite an easy job tbh with you. The Giga's can stay together, but the rest need to be seperated and you will get the occasional territory fight(which results in no death, but two low health Dinosaurs).

The key thing is when you release them, you need to strategically position them on the map. I managed to keep 1 Tyrannosaur, 1 Spinosaurus, 2 Giganotosaurus, as well as a huge amount of herbivores for a long time, Occasionally the large Therapods would attack/kill the herbivores, but they're easily replaceable - especially things like Stegosaurus or Ankylosaurus, which are cheap in comparison to Carnivores. The best place to do this is Isla Sorna - as the map is vast and it's kind of segmented. So build your guest area with hotels, food etc, then build a wall around that, then use the rest of the free space to put your Dinosaurs. For a large enclosure with large populations, don't build fences to hold them in, but use fences to keep them out.
